What i will never understand is how anyone can sit there and say that being with someone of the same sex is immoral, or wrong. Marriage is supposed to bring together two people who love each other regardless of sex, nationality or race. Love is an emotion and there shouldn’t be a label on who you may or may not feel it for. The time and energy that some of today’s population puts into bashing or degrading or harming homosexual people is energy that could be used for actually making a positive difference in today’s society. Is somebody else’s marriage harming you? Is somebody else’s feelings and love and life choices going to make you any less of a person? What gives anybody the right to tell you who you can or cannot marry? We’re supposed to be the land of the free. Well clearly, that isn’t free enough. In 7 states a girl can marry her girlfriend as well as a boy marrying his boyfriend. Yet, in 21 states I can marry my first cousin. You tell me who is in the wrong here?
